GUELPH, ONTARIO, CANADA— The

SFA Saniflo Inc. was honored with a New Product Showcase Award at
the recent ISH North America Show in Boston. The SANIBEST received

The new SANIBEST represents a
step up in flushing power from Saniflo’s popular SANIPLUS
model. While SANIPLUS will meet the needs of a typical residential
application involving
a toilet, hand basin, bath tub and shower, SANIBEST is intended
for larger residential and even commercial applications. That
means it can collect and pump away waste water not only from conventional
bathroom fixtures, but also from urinals and even clothes washing machines.
The key difference is in the macerating device.

SANIBEST MACERATING TOILET SYSTEM
Designed for larger residential and commercial applications.
|
The SANIPLUS macerator uses a fast-rotating
cutting blade, similar to a garbage disposal, to shred waste and
toilet paper in the flush water before removing it through a 3/4-inch
discharge line to a soil stack or septic tank.
|
The SANIBEST is a grinder device
with a cutting blade made of hardened steel that can handle larger
sanitary articles
as well as waste and toilet tissue. The blade rotates against a
stationary, perforated base plate, so that waste is quickly and
easily dispersed
through the base plate’s holes and into a 3/4-inch or one-inch
discharge line. While minimizing the risk of blockages in the unit
and in the discharge line, the macerating action remains relatively
quiet, with a noise level comparable to that of a conventional toilet
re-filling.
The more powerful SANIBEST system
also pumps higher and farther: up to 18 feet vertically or
nearly 180 feet horizontally (versus 12 and 150 feet, respectively
for
SANIPLUS) – or a lesser combination of these two distances.
Home and building owners therefore have greater flexibility in
where to situate a new bathroom in relation to the soil stack
or the septic tank. |

Although the most powerful unit in the Saniflo lineup, the SANIBEST macerating
toilet system is still low-consumption, using an elongated bowl that flushes
the standard 1.6 gallons (six liters) per flush.
