Sanishower System Enables Homeowners
To Add a Shower or Sink Virtually Anywhere

The SANISHOWER from Saniflo is a fully automatic gray water compact pump system designed to discharge wastewater from a shower, bathtub, bar or bathroom sink, making it ideal for tight areas where installation space is severely limited.

With SANISHOWER, a homeowner can add a new shower, lavatory sink, etc., virtually anywhere, regardless of concrete floors or load-bearing joists – which typically limit bathroom additions.

Measuring only 13 inches wide and 6-1/2 inches deep, the 6-inch-tall SANISHOWER is small and quiet enough to fit underneath a raised shower stall, underneath a lavatory cabinet (see photo above), or even concealed behind a wall.

Convenience of an extra shower: Adding a shower to a basement or unused bedroom closet usually means breaking up a concrete floor to install a sump and sewage ejector system or to tie into a home's existing, below-floor plumbing drainage system.

The SANISHOWER system avoids these costly obstacles to construction, because all its connections take place above the floor. As a result, SANISHOWER enables home and building owners to enjoy the convenience and luxury of a sink and shower wherever it is most convenient - in a basement, attic or garage, underneath stairs or inside a newly remodeled space – regardless of existing drainage.

How it works: Wastewater enters the compact SANISHOWER container via two 1-1/2 inch inlets, located on either side of the unit, which is constructed from durable polypropylene. Entry of the wastewater triggers a micro-switch in the chamber, activating the pump motor. This wastewater is immediately discharged, after which the micro-switch automatically deactivates the SANISHOWER.

Operating at 10 pounds per square inch, the Sanishower pump will move wastewater through a 3/4 inch discharge pipe up to 9 feet vertically, 100 feet horizontally, or a combination of both. (Note: A vertical run of three feet is equivalent to a horizontal run of 30 feet.)

Note: Unlike other models in the Saniflo line of macerating systems, the SANISHOWER must be used solely with gray water. It is not intended for handling wool strands, sanitary napkins, paper towels, bones, liquid greases and so forth. The SANISHOWER is not recommended to discharge wastewater directly from a clothes washer.

The SANISHOWER carries a CSA mark for plumbing and electrical use in the United States as well as Canada. Saniflo warranties the SANISHOWER, including all electrical components, for 12 months.
